Agarwal will be responsible for reinforcing the Keynote brand globally and will oversee all awareness-building and lead generation activities for the company. Since joining Keynote in April 2006, Agarwal has served in the positions of senior director and executive director of marketing.

For over 17 years, he has developed and led marketing and public relations at companies ranging from blue-chip HP to startup Shutterfly.com. Before joining Keynote, he led online marketing, product marketing and public relations for Fireman’s Fund’s two billion dollar commercial division.

"Anshu’s promotion reflects the creativity, focus on excellence, and execution that has gone into making this happen," says Gupta. "Under his leadership, marketing will continue to play a central role in enabling the 24x7 conversations that are the lifeblood of business in our digital information age."

The company also announced that Johannes Reis, who has been president of Keynote SIGOS for the last 10 years, will be retiring from the company effective August 1. As a subsidiary of Keynote based in Nuremburg, Germany, Keynote SIGOS provides on-demand testing and monitoring of telecom networks, services and components.

Reis will be replaced by Keynote SIGOS managing directors Adil Kaya and Martin Löhlein, effective April 28, with Reis overseeing a smooth transition over the next three months. Both Kaya and Löhlein have been with Keynote SIGOS since its founding over 20 years ago. Both executives will also report to Umang Gupta.

Keynote Systems provides on-demand test and measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience. The independent third-party provides IT and marketing executives with an objective view into their Internet services from a global perspective.
